Best part of the week: I handed in a bunch of things this week that I’d been working on and it felt so satisfying.

Worst part of the week: I’ve had a bit of a cold this week and I do not have time for it!  It’s midterm time and there are a bunch of assignments coming up so I can’t afford to have low energy right now!

Something I’m grateful for: My time management skills. I have a fun weekend coming up so I made sure to work extra hard this week so I can fully enjoy the weekend without worrying about school.

Something I’m excited for: I’m leaving for another adventure this afternoon and I can’t wait! I’m heading to Vancouver Island for a birthday celebration and it’s going to be so much fun. There’s going to be a float down a river, a mini roadtrip, lots of good food, and tons of excellent company.

500) Who was your favourite teacher at school and why? I’ve been lucky to have lots of amazing teachers throughout my education. The two most notable were Ms Kinvig and Ms N.  Ms Kinvig, my grade three teacher was my first favourite. She encouraged creativity and communication and really got to know her students and make them feel important. Ms N, my grade ten English teacher, was my next favourite teacher. She was amazing. She was a student teacher so she only taught us for a few weeks but man, oh man did she leave an impression. She taught the material in relevant ways, listened to feedback, and really made me feel seen in the class. She was the most amazing teacher I’ve ever had.

Happy weekending friends! I hope it’s full of sunshine, friends, and all sorts of tasty treats.
