I'm Emily - a 24 year old who grew up just outside Vancouver, BC, got a psychology degree in Victoria, worked for a year as a content creator, and is now going to school in Vancouver for graphic design, web design, and web development.

When I'm not at school or working on school assignments (which is pretty much all the freaking time) you can probably find me in a coffee shop, on the beach, driving along the beach, walking through a forest, working on a blog post, or lying in bed watching Netflix.

About This Blog:

Cashmere & Plaid has been a part of my life for the past five years.  It started out as a place for me to share anything - from my thoughts to crafts to simple recipes and everything in between. Over the past year, the focus of Cashmere & Plaid has shifted to become more about appreciating simplicity and learning how to live a more thoughtful, sustainable, and creative life.

Since April 2017 I've been in school full time learning the ins and outs of graphic design, web design, web development. Because of this, Cashmere & Plaid has been put to the side and sees much less activity than it has in the past. However, it is my intention to continue to blog and update the site as frequently as possible while still in school and once I've finished my program.
