fancy mochas from hey happy coffee in Victoria

Thanks to a group project and a number of other assignments due this week I didn't have much of a chance to take photos... But to prevent the dreaded photo-less post I thought I'd share a few old photos of things that I've been missing these past few days, including fancy coffees from cute cafes with fun people, drinking coffee in my bright apartment, this brave badass little sister of mine, and sitting in coffee shops in Victoria supporting local businesses, people watching, and journaling.

Best part of the week: Last Saturday I spent the day and night in the city and had such a fun time! We spent the day wandering around doing some shopping, I met up with someone to do a fun little blog thing (stay tuned for the post coming next week!), and spent the evening with some new friends. It was a day full of fun, laughs, coffee, and shopping - what more could I have asked for?!

Worst part of the week: I was feeling a little sad this week, missing Victoria and the life I had there. Moving home has been great so far and I feel super lucky that I’ve got the support allowing me to further my education and save as much money as possible. That being said, it’s hard being back at home and in my old neighbourhoods and and commuting and just adjusting to a new way of living.

Something I’m grateful for: My exceptionally generous family. I am so so so lucky to have a family that helps and supports me in every way that they can.

Something I’m excited for: I’m going to see the new Emma Watson movie The Circle this weekend and I am so freaking stoked. She’s fabulous and I love pretty much everything she does so I can’t wait watch her and Tom Hanks be tech geeks while I eat popcorn and candy.

287) Who's your favourite villain/baddie? Bellatrix Lestrange played by Helena Bonham Carter. So good at being bad.

Happy weekending everybody! Make sure you come back on Tuesday for a fun post featuring a new locally made natural beauty produuuuuct!
