DIY Easter Egg Candles
Let me just start by saying, HAPPY SPRING! Spring is by far my favourite season. I love the colours, the blossoms, the birds, and the anticipation of warmer days. Easter is fast approaching so here's another DIY to springify your space and decorate for the holiday.
- natural dyes *optional*
- OPTIONAL: Dye your eggs. There are two ways to do this, you can either dye the eggs before cracking them OR crack them, drain them, then dye them. I dyed the yellow and greenish ones before cracking and the blue one after cracking.
- Crack the eggs open, drain the insides, and gently peel off the inner membrane
- Melt down the beeswax. While the beeswax is melting, attach the wicks to the bottom of the egg shells.
- Pour the beeswax into the egg shells. Let the wax harden over night.
