Happy Friday friends! This week I went to the Vancouver Art Gallery, ate a bag of liquorice allsorts in honour of my Gram's birthday, spent a few days in Vancouver, worked on projects for my design portfolio, and drank lots of coffee. I've also been playing the new Harry Potter iPhone game and have become slightly addicted..

Best part of the week: I had a really good week in general! I spent time by myself, I spent time with my family, and I spent time with the boyfriend. It’s been a very balanced week and I’m heading into the weekend feeling very happy.

Worst part of the week: The job hunt is hard. And a bit discouraging. And, much like in February when I couldn’t find a practicum, I’m feeling like a bit of a failure. But I’m sending out applications, following up with applications and doing all that I can to make this happen. In the meantime I’m making the best of the situation by enjoying my free time, working on building my portfolio with side projects, and spending time with my family and buddies.

Something I’m grateful for: The balance I was talking about earlier has really been great. As an introvert I deeply value my alone time and I feel like these past few days have given me the time I need to recharge. But I’ve also had just the right amount of time with people I love. So this week, balance is the thing I’m most grateful for.

Something I’m excited for: Warm(ish) sunny weather! The forecast for next week is looking looooovely so I am very much looking forward to spending some time outside and getting some good ol vitamin D.

489) Have you ever starred in an amateur or professional video? Nope. I’ve been in family videos and videos we had to make for school over the years but I am not one who particularly enjoys being in front of the camera all that much.

That's all for now folks! I hope you all have a sunny weekend and enjoy the songs that the birds  have started singing in the mornings (NOT complaining!).
