DIY Facemasks
Before I settled on these two masks I tried out a whole bunch. While the others were all fine and did make my skin feel clean, these two were definitely my favourites. The coffee in the coffee and cocoa one had so many benefits for my skin and I loved how it doubled as an exfoliator when I was rinsing it off. The banana and honey one sort of hardened and felt like it was really sucking out all the nasties in my skin. Gross, I know, but when it comes to facemasks, that's kind of exactly what you want! Ingredients:
- finely ground coffee
- cocoa powder
- egg white
Method:
- combine all the ingredients to create a paste
- refrigerate for a few minutes just to make it cold enough to feel refreshing ok your face!
- apply the mask to your face in circular motions
- wait 15-20 minutes
- rinse off using warm water and a face cloth
Ingredients
- half a banana
- spoon full of honey
- a squeeze of lemon juice
Method

- refrigerate for a few minutes until it's just cold enough to feel refreshing
- let sit for 15-20 minutes
- rinse off using warm water and a face cloth, gently washing in circular motions
